You must know how Acupressure and Acupuncture practitioners are precisely aware of the physical body’s energy points. These energy points are not restricted to the knowledge of Eastern Medicine practitioners.

Across many cultures, mainly in the East, various esoteric systems of energy of the have been known for a long time and also utilized for healing.

Although explored in the most detail in Kundalini Yoga and Hindu Texts of Shaktism, the famous ‘Tantra’ texts, the 7 chakra energy system is quite similar to Tantric Buddhist Texts.

In yoga and meditation today, as well as in Reiki Healing, the 7 chakra energy system is considered to be the standard of defining energy points within the human body.

These energy points called ‘chakras‘ are further connected to organs, senses, emotions and levels of consciousness.

Kundalini Yoga describes that with careful and regular practice involving meditation, yoga and intent,  an individual can master her chakras and become ‘enlightened’ .
